Tahir has more than 19 years of experience in the IT field, including 13 years in managing and leading the IT function for well-known multinational organizations in Retail, Automotive, Distribution, Trading, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing industries in US, Canada, Saudi Arab and the UAE.

He has successfully led, managed and delivered major projects to improve business operations, bringing efficiencies in processes, improvements in customer relations and retention, with the use of ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence, Cloud and infrastructure technologies.

Additionally his expertise lies in aligning IT function with business objectives and developing high performing teams. In his current role, Tahir is responsible for the development and implementation of IT strategy for Gulf Cryo; which manufactures and supplies industrial, medical and specialty gases to a wide range of industries across the Middle East from its production facilities in ten countries.

Tahir holds a BSc degree in Chemistry from Karachi University, Pakistan and in Computer Science from University of Utah, USA. He is also a board member of Middle East Oracle Users Group.
